Biesse Manufacturing Company

Biesse India, incorporated in 2007, is a 100%-owned subsidiary of Biesse S.p.A Italy, which has headquarters in Pesaro. Biesse was founded in 1969 by Mr. Giancarlo Selci and is a globally leading manufacturer of systems and machines for processing wood, glass, stone, and advanced materials.

Biesse India established in 2006 is the Biesse Group’s first production site outside Italy. It has two production units in Bangalore, spread across 30000 sqm, with a fully integrated manufacturing unit having 700+ employees and a capacity to produce over 2000 machines annually. 70% of its products are exported to over 70+ countries worldwide. With intensive training and knowledge transfer from Italy, it has developed local talent to design, develop, and produce a whole range of machines in the midmarket segment, serving both the local and global markets.

The first 5000 machines were produced by 2017, and by 2021, it had produced 10,000 machines owing to the well-structured lean manufacturing system. Strongly committed to the “Make in India for the World” initiative, it has diversified into producing machines for glass and advanced materials processing. Equipped with a stateof- the-art technical centre with a showroom space of more than 1000 sqm, it serves customers for turnkey solutions and training on advanced CAD/CAM software  Biesse India CSR initiatives focus on skill development across India and infrastructure projects that help local communities.
